Grace From Birth

Whether we know it or not, we have been resting upon The LORD since birth. Since we have came out of the womb, we have been resting upon His grace and mercy. Without God’s mercy, and without His help, all men are doomed. There is always grace at work, always mercy, though some do not recognize it.

"By thee have I been holden up from the womb: thou art he that took me out of my mother's bowels: my praise shall be continually of thee." [Psa 71:6]

A more literal translation of Psalms 71:6,

"I have rested upon you from birth: from the womb of my mother thou hast conferred favors upon me: my praise shall be continually of thee"

From birth, we have leaned upon our God and He is the one who has been conferring favors upon us from the womb of our mothers. The Bible says elsewhere,

"Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from The Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning." [Jam 1:17]

And

"The LORD is good to all: and His tender mercies are over all His works." [Psa 145:9]

So we see that the good gifts of our lifetime were given to us by God. He is always conferring to us graces and mercies that we do not deserve for that is His very nature. Let us not take advantage of this and sin, but rather remain pure and praise our God.

CONCLUSION

Because of God’s grace and His goodness we should praise Him. Our praise should never be to anything else. He alone deserves our praise. So let us praise His name!

"Let every thing that hath breath praise the LORD. Praise ye the LORD." [Psa 150:6]
