Purpose

Morning Star Cleveland is a non-profit organization operating in Cleveland Ohio and the surrounding areas in the context of Christian service to others, “especially unto them who are of the household of faith.” [Gal 6:10] The exclusive purpose of Morning Star Cleveland is to glorify “The Great God and our Savior, Jesus Christ.” Through the weakness and inability of incapable and mere men, Jesus Christ lives, for He says, “because I live, ye shall live also.” The Holy Spirit gives witness to this, saying,

"God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty; and base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are: that no flesh should glory in His presence." [1 Cor 1:27-29]

Through Jesus Christ, and through Him alone, by abiding in Him and clinging to Him in study and prayer, in blessed fellowship with The Son of God, men receive strength and ability. The strategies of men and of books are utterly empty and vain. For in Jesus Christ and His grace “ye are enriched” and that,

"In all speech, and in all application-knowledge; even as the testimony of Christ was confirmed in you: so that ye come behind in no gift; waiting for the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ: who shall also confirm you unto the end, that ye may be blameless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ. God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of His Son Jesus Christ our Lord." [1 Cor 1:4-9]

The only viable “vision” is “Jesus Christ and Him crucified.” All other visions are vain and lead to emptiness and burnout. “Trust ye in the LORD for ever: for in the LORD JEHOVAH is everlasting strength.” [Isa 26:4]
