The blessing, glory, honor, and majesty found in salvation, which we experience/will experience through Jesus are a result of us seeing Jesus’ glory. The reason salvation is so magnificent is because through it we get to intimately know and expereince God through Jesus, who is the “fullness of the Godhead in bodily form.” Jesus Himself says, “this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.” [Jn 17:3] To see “the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ” is the most precious treasure on earth. In Jesus Christ, in learning of Him and seeing His glory, we find life.
Paul tells us that in Jesus “are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.” [Col 2:2-3] Solomon tells us to seek out wisdom, for “wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom” and he also says “the LORD giveth wisdom.” [Prov 4:7; 2:6] It makes sense, then, that if we are seeking after wisdom, found in Jesus Christ, that “whoso findeth [wisdom] findeth life, and shall obtain favour of The LORD.” [Prov 8:35]
And so we see in Psalms 21, that David says,
"His glory is great in thy salvation; honour and majesty hast thou laid upon Him. For thou hast made him most blessed for ever: thou hast made him exceeding glad with thy countenance. For the king trusteth in The LORD, and through the mercy of the most High he shall not be moved." [Psa 21:5-7]
And again David says,
"There be many that say, who will shew us any good? LORD, lift thou up the light of Thy countenance upon us. Thou hast put gladness in my heart, more than in the time that their corn and their wine increased." [Psa 4:6-7]
CONCLUSION
Through seeing the face of God in Jesus Christ, through seeking out Jesus, we find gladness; we find joy. So seek Him out! Seek this glory out in the scriptures, in The Bible that God has preserved for us.
